SPIRITUAL UNDERGROUND – A contemplative sound ceremony, 28–30 August 2025 | St. Paul’s Church, Mariatorget

Spiritual Underground brings together the analog instrument OMIT, composer Lisa Montan, and saxophonist Nils Berg in a joint sound ceremony where rest, listening, and presence take center stage.
Inside the stillness of St. Paul’s Church, a group of older musicians performs OMIT live – an instrument developed over three years through interdisciplinary collaboration to support stress recovery through precisely tuned tonal intervals that engage the body’s nervous system.
Lisa Montan, active as a composer in film and performing arts, performs a specially written work live in close harmony with OMIT’s soundscape and with saxophonist Nils Berg as soloist.
