Dying for Love (Stockholm)

A celebration of love, death and the opera's ballads... September 3, 4 at 19.30 The House of Dance, The Large Auditorium Swedish première

Dying for love mixes death arias from famous operas like Madam Butterfly, Tosca, Carmen, La Traviata, etc. with the fates of seven opera singers. The opera singers come from Portugal, are between 26 and 68 years old and tell the tale of their life, loves and passions, their careers and misfortunes. Dying for Love is a performance in which almost everyone dies, like in so many operas where the heroine sings herself to death, is stabbed, drowned, torn to pieces and so on.
